5th and antepenultimate piece of this series!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For this one I didn't know who to draw, that's why I made a poll on my DA asking the people if they wanted me to draw Eleanor of Aquitaine, Mary I of England or Anne Boleyn. Eleanor was the winner, so here she is!</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Eleanor of Aquitaine (1122-1204) was one of the wealthiest and powerful women in western Europe during the High Middle Ages. She became Duchess of Aquitaine in her own right when she was still a child, then later Queen Consort of France (1137-1152) and of England (1154-1189). She was the mother of Richard the Lionheart.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This piece gave me a huge headache, since I had problems with the pose and the armor. In her times, warriors used a chain mail and some kind of tunic over it and, since I'm lazy, I decided to draw only the tunic over the dress. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also had problems picking her hair colour, since in some paintings it seemed to be red, in others it seemed blonde and even light brown. I finally painted it red because I liked it more.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyway, here's the 4th piece of my Women of History series. This time I decided to draw Cleopatra, the agyptian queen.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Cleopatra (69BC-30BC) was the last active pharaoh of the Ancient Egypt. She ruled with her father and brothers until she became sole ruler. She consumated a liaison wiyh Julius Caesar and after his assassination she aligned to Mark Anthony in opposition of Caesar's legal heir. She commited suicide after Mark Anthony's suicide by means of an asp bite.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Searching for references about Cleopatra was a little pain, since the only things I found were captures from movies in which she was depicted and some subsequent paintings and sculptures. Even if I wasn't really pleased with them, I ended up relying on them and on some advices of my friend <a href="http://mio-mio.deviantart.com/" target="_blank">Laura</a>. She gave me some ideas such as adding the roman breastplate and the crown of the two egypts, but I didcarded this last one since I nedded to hide her hair, and I liked this bird thing even more.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The frame was fun to make, in fact, I ended up finishing it at 4 a.m since I didn't noticed the time while working on it. This time, I made all the details of the frame by myself.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I totally forgot that I had to write this entry! I hope I haven't forgotten anything about the process xDDD...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
This time is the turn of <a href="http://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isabella_I_of_Castile">Isabella I of Castile</a> (Isabel I de Castilla) was the Queen of Castile and Leon and Queen consort of Aragón, Majorca, Naples and Valencia. She was married to Ferdinand II of Aragon, and they were known as the Catholic Monarchs. Both of them reconquered Granada, the last Muslim kingdom, and supported and financed Christopher Columbus' voyage.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I had several troubles looking for pictures about her, since in ones you could see her hair blonde and in others it was brown, plus there is also a TV show about her life, and the actress (Michelle Jenner) has a very light broen hair colour. In the end I decided to pick a very light brown, almost blonde, and then I added some shades using red tones.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
I also couldn't decide the colour of her clothes, since none seemed good to me. I ended up choosing this one by popular demand xD. Here you can see the others:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g317/isis-Arya/ISA4.png" height="200" width="116" /> <img border="0" src="http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g317/isis-Arya/ISA3.png" height="200" width="116" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the frame I used <a href="http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_nouveau#mediaviewer/Archivo:Alfons_Mucha_-_1894_-_Gismonda.jpg" target="_blank">this artwork</a> by Alphonse Mucha as a reference, since I liked it and I thought it would fit it quite well. As for some of the details, I used <a href="http://cherubiumangles.deviantart.com/art/Art-Nouveau-shapes-200370058" target="_blank">this shape pack</a> by CherubiumAngles, since my Photoshop started to act weird xD.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here's the second piece of my historic women series.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This time, I've drawn Jeanne D'Arc or Joan of Arc (1410-1431), who received visions of various saints and angels telling her to support her king Charles VII and recovering France from English domination. She was captured in 1430 by the english and condemned to die burned at the stake.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Since she is considered both as a Saint and a Virgin, I didn't wanted to draw her in a sexy style (even though I'm not very keen on religions). Instead, I decided to draw her with a melancholic face, holding her coat of arms in a spear. Since the background is more simplistic than Marie Antoinette's, I decided to give it some details by adding a fleur de lis pattern to her dress.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
while I was searching for references for her armor, I realised that se really had dark hair, which contradicts what we are used to see on TV series, cinema and cartoons where they depict her as a blonde, so I decided to stay loyal to her real self. For the armor I used several references from portraits and statues and then added some extra golden details.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Before finishing, I want to let you know that I've openen an store on Socity6, so from now on you will be able to purchase some of my works as prints, bags, iPhone cases and a wide amount of items more! I've already added the link to the right column, and thete is also a little widget on the left one, but I'll leave the link to it here anyway ^^.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Lately I've been thinking about making a series of drawing dedicated to some historic women, using some armors and weapons of their times, made in a sexy/nouveau style.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The first woman I decided to portray was Marie Antoinette (1755-1793), who was the Queen consort of France until the Revolutionary Tribunal executed her by guillotine on 16 October 1793.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Drawing her was quite a challenge. At first I had planned to draw her using a different dress, but pretty similar to this one. When I found <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_Antoinette#mediaviewer/File:Adolf_Ulrik_Wertm%C3%BCller_-_Queen_Marie_Antoinette_of_France_and_two_of_her_Children_Walking_in_The_Park_of_Trianon_-_Google_Art_Project.jpg" target="_blank">this</a> painting by Adolf Ulrik Wertmüller I decided it was better to draw an interpretation of the dress that she's wearing on it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The next thing I needed to know, was the kind of armor which was used on that century...I finally found a website about the 18th century, and I found a picture of the Cuirassier armor, and decided that it was the perfect armor for this dress. Unfortunatelly, the pictures I found about it were pretty small, that's why I've maybe missed some details. I also changed the belt for a ribbon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The painting process was a bit painful with all that folds, ruffles, jewels and metallic elements, but I think it came out pretty nice. One curious thing is that before I painted her hair, it looked like Hades' hair xDDD.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since I want this series to have a Nouveau frame, I had to search for some references. I found one that I liked and I made my own interpretation of it. It may be a bit simplistic, but I like how it looks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think the next one of this series will be Jeanne D'Arc.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Some weeks ago my friend <a href="http://mio-miossketchbook.blogspot.com.es/" target="_blank">Laura</a> asked me if I wanted to order some art supplies with her, I finally did and I ordered a Prismacolor Blue 2H pencil and a pack of Sakura Pigma Micron fineliners. I got them yertserday, so I decided to give them a try.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
At first I wasn't very happy with the pencil, I mean, I can see the blue better than the grey but it's more difficult to erase it although it's an special pencil for sketching but, anyway, it seems that the watercolors covered it pretty well. On the other hand, I'm very happy with the fineliners because they are water-resistant and they have a pretty dark color but, you need to be careful when you pass your eraser over it, because it'll eat the blacks!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
About the drawing, I wantd to draw Chizuru Yukimura (from Hakuouki ~Shinsengumi Kitan~) on her <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oiran" target="_blank">Oiran</a> (NOT GEISHA) outfit for a long time, so I though this would be the perfect opportunity. At first I thought I was going to die with all the details of her kimono, but I decided not to overload it with all the details and I ended up doing just the patterns on the red part of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I wanted to do it in a Art Nouveau style, since I love it A LOT, so I searched for some frame refferences until I got this. I must say that I'm pretty proud of it, since I had to remove the dust from my compass tool, which I hadn't used for years!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The piece was painted using water colors and some metallic pencils and markers for the details.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Of course, I had to edit the colors A LOT to make them look better once I scanned it, here's a comparisson between the unedited piece and the edited one (you must know that scanners ALWAYS kills the colors! so a bit of edditing is always reccomended). At the end I decied to add some japanese patterns to the background.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
This drawing started as a quick doodle that I had in mind for several months. At first I thought of painting it using phoroshop, but one day I found some curious tutorials made by agent-lapin @ deviantART and I decided to give them a Try.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I wans't going to follow ALL the instructions of the tutorial, just some which I thought the would give a different look to the piece, and this is the final result.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
What I actually made was to blend part of the lines into the skin/hair, so it wouldn't have any kind of anime/comic style, and I must say that I'm pretty proud of how it ame out. Of corse, I had to make some fixes to the drawing, specially her chin. Here I leave you a Before and After screenshot:</div>

Guess what? Yes, I forgot to update, again xDDD.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This time I wanted to draw something static but with a bit of movement and flow. I really enjoyed drawing all the fabrics of the skirt and the curves of her belly. I also wanted to make somthing colorful, That's why I used lots of gradients on her clothes.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Since I also wanted to give her an exotic look, I decided to create contrast between her skin and her hair, which I whink it looks kinda pretty.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
For this piece I used the airbrush tool to make the lineart, and I like a lot the result because I think it looks smoother and less sharp. Here I leave you an screenshot of her face and torso and the speedpaint:</div>

Hello~!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I was commissioned by AsukaKyubi.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
She wanted me to draw her characters Asuka and Kazura (mother and daughter) and some cherry trees.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
It was a bit difficult for me to imagine anything with them being adult, that's why I asked for permission to draw Kazura as a child. I think that drawing her like that gave a tender feeling to the whole image.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Also, the background gave me some headaches, because I only had drawn the shrine balcony and the branches where the cherry flowers are...I think I repainted the rest of the background about three or four times until I finally came to something I liked.</div>

Hello~!<br />
<br />
I'm very sorry for not updating frequently, because most of the times I forget that I have this blog (and I check it daily, LOL) and I'm also pretty lazy ~ xD.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I was commissioned again by Dolly-Belladonna. She wanted me to draw her Skyrim character Aisha and Cicero again, but in a younger version.<br />
She gave me a lot of details for the background, but they were so much that if I had put all of them in the image it would have ended to be pretty overloaded and the main focus might have been lost, that's why I decided to keep it more simple.<br />
Since Dolly wanted them to be on a party in some nobleman's house, I decided to draw them in a balcony, with some trees on the background and a flowery ivy. Maybe the detail of the moon on the background it's a widely used resource, but I think that it gave a more romantic look to the whole image.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03431987832131905355noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3904619542160097836.post-77318766113166504062014-05-06T13:24:00.001+02:002014-05-06T13:31:23.699+02:00[Cosplay] Yamuraiha's Sea Snails<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The last month was held the 4th edition of Alicante's Anime Convention, and this year I decided to cosplay as Yamuraiha (Magi: Labyrinth of Magic) for that occassion.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
One of the things that drove me mad were the Sea Snails she has behind her ears. I searched in a lot of shop for plastic sea snails, but I couldn't find any. Finally, when I was watching cosplay tutorials on Youtube, I saw someone using some kind of bobber for making horns, so I asked my father and he told me that it may be extruded porexpan, so I bought one sheet of 4cm thickness.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My father helped me during the process of making the sea snails.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Tools:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- Extruded Porexpan</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- Sandpaper and Other Sanding Tools</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- Cutter</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- White Glue</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- Eva Foam </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- Brown Acrylic</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
- Glod Spray Paint</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1- Firstly we cut 3 circles of porexpan of different sizes, and then we glued them to form something which looked like a pyramid.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
2- Then we sanded them to get the shape of a cone, after that, we drew a swirl on them.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
3- After drawing the swirls we sanded the lines with different tools to make the spiral pattern of the snails, we polished the borders to make them look more rounded.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi21Cgx295Qj49NKxLpKn_M8gwzI2vz6yF8ASC21oeRNuIOup0NrqpjXZp6Lo0ijnu86i9CQaRos7m-Pbsn6CD6rjLuO10OaN59QuWlEyuo3K51VjFOiDR8t0InY9Mk4REmrraJPHPEVNI/s1600/process1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi21Cgx295Qj49NKxLpKn_M8gwzI2vz6yF8ASC21oeRNuIOup0NrqpjXZp6Lo0ijnu86i9CQaRos7m-Pbsn6CD6rjLuO10OaN59QuWlEyuo3K51VjFOiDR8t0InY9Mk4REmrraJPHPEVNI/s1600/process1.png" height="247" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
4- Finally, I tilted them a bit so they wouldn't look as horns.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The painting process is pretty simple but, before painting, you need the porexpan to be more hard, that's why I used white glue.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Once the snails were hard enough (they had about 5 coats of glue), I made a cut on the edges and I cut tome eva foam to make the little fins of the sides. I glued them inside the cut of the snails and put them about 3 coats of white glue to harden them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
After that, I used brown acrylic paint to make a base and when it dryed I used gold spray paint to paint them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Finally, I attached the finished Sea Snails to a hairband and I used a thicker eva foam to extend it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I don't have any good photo of the finished cosplay yet, but I hope I'll go to take some photos soon with mi Magi group :3.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Lately I've been playing the first Castlvania Lords of Shadow, and I've really enjoyed it! I always wanted to play any Castlevania title, and Lords of Shadows gave me the big opportunity to do it xD.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I decided to draw Carmilla not only because I like vampires (the old school ones), but also because I fell in love with her human form design! she's such a beautiful yet deadly female.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
At first I made a previous sketch that I didn't liked at all, that's why I decided to make another one, and this came out. I wanted to reflect her sensual figure, but also her deadli side, that's why she has dome blood on her left hand. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I also had to make a lot of research no only for her outfit, but I also had to search for tons of gothic building references in order to draw the window as accurate as possible (Carmilla's Castle from the first LoS is a gothic one). For drawing Carmilla, I wanted to stay as away as possible from my anime style.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I don't know how many time it took me to draw the whole piece, but it took me about 4 hours to paint it. Here you can see the two Speed Paint Videos I made (and it's the first time that I've recorded me while painting the whole background):</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Some weeks ago Koch Media Spain hold another Lightning Returns design contest. We also had to design her a new armor, but this time we didn't had the sames restrictions as on deviantART.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I decided to draw her wearing some kinf od "light" armor, as she only uses a breastplate and a shoulderguard. At first I thought that the breastplate came out a bit plain, that's why I added that kind of pattern to it, and I think it looks pretty good. I also wanted to keep something roman-alike , ans that's why I added the rope on the sides and the middle of the outfit. She also uses a blue transparent cape with an swirly pattern on the bottom part of it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since it's an spear based armor, it doesn't hsa a very big/heavy shield, but a simple armguard with claws on the top. The armor is very light, so she can move quicly, and it's water/wind elemental.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This desing didn't won, as in deviantART. It seems that you need to design a battle bikini in order to win.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Anyway, while doing this I discovered that painting using photoshop is way more harder that using say, because you need to use the dropper tool a lot, and you can get thing wrong if you don't use it properly.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For making this piece, I used sandara's and DanLuVisiArt's brushes.</div>

We (the participants) had some troubles with the contest rules, since we understood that we had to design outfits for lightning which could be original or based on the FFXIII universe, while some other people understood that we could only do the second thing. Anyway, I ended up making three different entries, come are fully-original and the others are based on the FFXIII universe:<br />

For me, Lightning resembles, in some way, to a phoenix, since she has
fallen and rised so many times, as phoenix do. She started being a
soldier, then she was made a L'Cie, Champion of Etro and now she's the
Savior, and I think that's like living so many different lifes.<br />
<br />
The
armour consists on a golden breastplate, a gloden choker, an armguard
two leg-guards and a knee protector (this one and the armguard has the
shape of a flame).<br />
The other parts of her clothing consits on a
leather top (where the back feathers are attached), a pair of leather
shorts with a zipper on the sides, a pair of stockings, leather boots
(with zippers on the middle and fire ornaments on the tip), leather
belts a short glove on her shield hand decorated with feathers and a
long fingerless glove decorated with diamonds in the knuckles. She also
wears a cape which has the shape of three phoenix tails attached to the
back of the leather top. The white thing is based on an ancient rome
robe and it's attached using a rounded golden piece with a phoenix drawn
on it.<br />
<br />
This is a fire elemental armor which can absorb part of
the fire-based attacks, enhances the effect of healing items/skills,
increases the Attack Speed and he HP a bit.<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I made this armor taking a little refference from her XIII-2 armor and
played a bit with the shapes. The metal is specially worked to make it
resemble to a crystalised L'Cie, plus this is a reminder to Lightning's
L'Cie past.</div>
Under the armor she wears a corset, a pair of little
shorts (not seen here), elastic gloves and thighs andleather boots and
belts. She also wears some pearls as an ornament and some crystal tears
to resemble Serah's one.<br />
The Sword and shield are also made of crystal.<br />
<br />
This
armor elements are Blizzard and Aero (or Wind, I don't know the name of
the english version), and it's specially effective against Cie'th
enemies. It's a very heavy armor, but also a very powerful one. It gives
a high protection.<br />
<br />
The hairpin has the ame shape as the shield.<br />

I based the this outfit on Lightning's one from
FFXIII, but I altered the shape of some parts. Also, some of the
accesories and patterns are based on monsters and characters from the
whole FFXIII saga, they are: <br />
<br />
- Snow Villiers (boots)<br />
- Caius Ballad (purple thing on her hips)<br />
- Cid Raines / Yaag Rosch (leather bracelet on her left arm)<br />
- Lumina (thing on her right arm and necklace)<br />
- Zaltys (neck piece of the coat and arrow thing.<br />
- Anubis (the squared things on the tighs and sword)<br />
- Bhunivelze (pattern of the jacket and shield)<br />
<br />
The
jacket, skirt, bracelet and boots are made of leather, she also has a
little top under the jacket, one long glove and claws in one of her
hands. The claws, the decorations of the neck of the jacket and that
kind of "arrow" at the bottom of the jacket are made of gold, and the
blue and green parts are gems.<br />
<br />
The main elements of this outfit are darkness and lightning, it has a low defense, but a very high speed.<br />
</div>
</div>
<hr />
<br />
We also had problems with the sizeof the file, since it was a bit weird and didn't let us show all the detaills of our designs.<br />
Anyway, I'm happy to have designed some outfits for my fave female Final Fantasy Character, plus Tetsuya Nomura will be the judge!<br />
<br />
The contest resutls will be given the on the 7th, 8tn and 99th of March, so wish me luck! (I don't really think I'll win anything xD).<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm very sorry for writting this entry so late! <small><small><small><s>though anyone seems to read them, YAY!</s></small></small></small><br />
<br />
I was commissioned to draw an scene of Tali and an injured Shepard in a hospital where Tali is holding him. At first I thiught about drawing Shepard lying on a bed, but since the commissioner wanted it to be a full-body drawing, I drew them whis way, lately I knew that he wanted me to draw the first thing I thought...but I was happy to read that he liked it this way too xDDD.<br />
<br />
<br />
The references I was sent some references for Tali and Shepard, but the images had such a low resolution that I've had probably missed some details, specially on Tali's outfit. I made a shirtless Shepard because the commissioner asked me to draw the bandages in certain places and this was the perfect way to show them, and I know that Shepard's anatomy is weird (that arm... ¬¬).<br />
<br />
<br />
I managed to draw the perspective thanks to the awesome Photsshop tool "Vanishing Point" (I don0t know if this is the actual translation xD), but anyway I still had to look for some references for hospitals, because at first I drew so much tiles and looked more like a bathroom than like a hospital xD.</div>

<br /></div>
YAY! i'm still working on this series! xD<br /><br />This time my victims were Shilene and Uras, Aryen and Uryen's parents.<br /><br />I wanted to draw them in a tender way, to show the love they feel for each other. Although I'm not the kind of person who likes love stories and such things, I must admit that I love their relationship and I enjoyed drawing them this way.<br /><br />Shilene was the one who gave me most of the headaches, since I couldn't manage to get this pose and I had to redraw it several times, I also had to look for some references for her left arm. The only problems I got while drawing Uras, was the shape of his face, since at first it seemed very girly and I had to fix his chin, I also wanted to draw him with his hair untied .<br /><br />I also wanted to practise painting skies and clouds, so I searched for some dawn skies references on google and tried to get it as accurate as possible. I really enjoyed making the clouds!.<br /><br />On the other hand, you know that in this series I like to attach some flowers to the characters, this time I've chosen the Chrysanthemum, because while I was searching for information about it, I learned that they have a lot of meanings depending on the culture, some of the meanings are royalty, love, happiness and death, and I think they suit them quite well. I used some tatoos as a reference to draw it.<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
So I've been wanting to paint something traditionally for a long time, and I also wanted to draw Vivi Ornitier from Final Fantasy IX for a long time, that's why I decided to do both at the same time xD.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Anyway, I had to search for a some references for Vivi, since there were some details of his outfit that I couldn't remember well, by doing this I remembered that he also appeared in Kingdom Hearts II (I totally forgot!!) and I though on drawing him using the outfit he has on that game, but I still prefer this one :3. The sketch was done on a regular paper and then transferred to a drawing block.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The parts that probably gave me more headaches were his pants, his head and the hat, his hands weren't as hard as imagined they would be. I also enjoyed a lot painting him, I used almost the entire pencil box because I like to try the colors a lot xD.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />I had to enhance the colours using photoshop, since the scanner ruined them ¬¬.</div>

I can't forgive myself for not having written the entry for this piece until today! D: (it was made at the begining of december 2013 D:)<br /><br />Aidiki-chan uploaded the sketch of this man on Facebook, and since she said she wasn't going to colour it, I asked for her permission to do it.<br /><br />For me, this was the excuse to paint a male torso and to play with lights, since I always wanted to paint something where the light source is on the back of the character xD.<br /><br />I painted everything on Sai and then made al the light effects on photoshop. I put a lot of effort on painting his skin, specially on his chest :3. <div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So I've finally reached 100+k visits on my DA profile! because of this, I decided to make a Kiriban and sakuraluvsuall@deviantart was the winner!. She requested me to draw her beautiful OC Aysu ^^.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
When I saw the refferences that sakuraluvsuall gave me, I instantly decided that I wanted to draw her in a dynamic pose with movement and a bit of foreshortening, since that's a challenge for me!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I had a lot of problems while drawing her hands, I had to redraw both of them until I was really satisfied with the results, but in the end her right hand was bigger than it should be and I totally forgot to correct it before cleaning the lines >_<. The second problem came when I started scketching her braids, I can understand their structure, bu when I was defining their shape after working in their schema I got really confused because I didn't knew where the next strand should go!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But anyway, I had a lot of fun painting it, since I'm not very used to use green colours on my works, so this has ended up being a really good practise!^^</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />
The background was made in photoshop, using the brushes that you can get on my DA account for 30 points or by donating 0,30€ to me ^^.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And for those who are wondering, my favourite parts of this drawing are her eyes, wings and dress ^^.</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Happy New Year for those who takes their time on reading this blog! xD</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So yeah, here I come with the first entry and the first finished drawing of the year!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The main idea of this piece was to draw a samurai/demon-slayer version of the popular character Red Riding Hood, who also has a big brown werewolf at her service xD.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The thing that gave me my first headache was Red's pose, since I didn't liked the first one I drew, so I needed to look for references until I found one that I liked for this piece. The second headache came with her clothes design, because the ones that I thought at the beginning came out so ugly that I had to redesign them, and I finally added a metallic corset. I also had to look for references of japanese armors. After that, I didn't knew if it was better to draw her with some kind of bloomers or with an skirt...an I finally ended up drawing an skirt with a cut on the side and the garthers.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The werewolf was hard to draw since I'm not used to draw this kind of characters, so I didn't knew how the proportions should be >_<, anyway, I think it doesn't looks that bad!.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
For the background I used a lot of green and blue tones to give it a night atmosphere, I like how it came even if I didn't detailed it as much as I wanted. I used some brushes that I had on my computer for the leaves and the moon texture...I just hope I could remember where I got them, I also should make my own ones!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And yeah! the ground is full of blood xDDD</div>

This is a gift for Dolly-Belladonna @ deviantART as a thank for giving me a premium membership :3.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
She's Aisha, her Skyrim character, you'll remember her from a previous entry about a commission I did for her.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I decided to draw her because I really liked her desing and her dress, I wanted to make it to resemble a bit about the Art Nouveau style but without making all of those frames (don't get me wrong, I really love them, but I just felt that they wouldn't fit with this piece).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
The idea about the moon resembling a swing came because of her name and because I've been wanting to draw something like this for ages and she was the perfect victim! xD.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
This is a commission I've made for SilverShadowfax @ deviantART about her Skyrim character SilverEye, and her friend's character the khajit Rahks :3.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Making this commission was quite a challenge, this time it want's the poses but the armors!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
At first I thought that SilverEye was wearing a chainmail, but then the commissioner told me that it is made with dragon scales! She sent me dome in-game refferences of the armor and I almost died! the image was pretty dark and I couldn't see some parts of it, so I had to search for more refferences. I tried very hard to simmulate all the textures of the armor, specially the metallic parts and the pieces made with big scales, since they're the ones you can see better. I recommend to take a loot to it on DA, because you'll appreciate the textures better.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I had even more troubles working with Rahks, since SilverShadowfax couldn't send me some refferences, so I had to ask my friend <a href="http://mio-mio.deviantart.com/" target="_blank">Laura</a> for some screenshots of a khajit with the features that the commissioner sent me. I had to leave aside some os his weapons suchs as the blade he wears on his back, because they would cover his face. This armor was also quite a challenge, because of the colours and the texture >_<.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Anyway, I'm pretty happy with the results! :3</div>
